Family Law

Stuart can provide representation in all Family Law matters including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support and the equalization of net family property. Going through a separation or divorce requires you to make some of the most important decisions of your life.

Stuart can help you with that by taking the time to listen to you and help you identify your legal objectives efficiently, fairly, and effectively. He recognizes that you are going through emotional, social and financial challenges and will not be afraid to speak up for you at a difficult time. Employment Law

Conflict can also arise at work. It can lead to job loss and severe economic consequences. Stuart has been helping clients obtain fair wrongful dismissal settlements throughout his career. An employer may have the right to terminate an employee’s employment, but it must do so by giving adequate notice of that termination so its employee has sufficient time to find alternate employment. The adequacy of this notice period depends on the facts of each individual employee situation. Stuart will help you ascertain what notice period you are entitled to and help you seek same from your former employer. Should negotiations fail, Stuart has the experience to have the matter resolved fairly and effectively in mediation or in court.
